Özet

In tissue engineering applications, it is crucial to produce biomimetic surfaces that can mimic the morphological, mechanical, and biological properties of the target tissue. Thus, the design parameters including polymer selection should be determined clearly to achieve the most effective scaffold material that can be used in tissue engineered prostheses. In this study, PCL and PLA fibrous surfaces were produced in both neat and blended form with a weight ratio of 50/50 by the electrospinning method using chloroform based solvent system. To see the effect of pure and blended states of these biopolymers, the morphological and mechanical properties of the surfaces are compared with each other.
