These methods try to find a solution for ranking the alternatives more accurately using the available information. EXPROM-I method performs a partial ranking of alternatives whereas EXPROM-II does a full ranking of the alternatives. Vague and imprecise data of multi-criteria decision making problems can be better captured by spherical fuzzy sets (SFS) than ordinary fuzzy sets. SFS are an extension of picture fuzzy sets, presenting a larger definition volume for the parameters of membership function. In this paper, spherical fuzzy EXPROM method is developed and applied to the solution of a wastewater treatment technology selection problem.
