Biography
Assoc. Prof. Ebru Yetiskin works as a researcher & full-time lecturer in Istanbul Technical University since 2003. She graduated from The Department of Radio-TV-Cinema in Istanbul University in 1999. After completing her Master of Arts in Science, Technology, Society Joint Program in Louis Pasteur University and Istanbul Technical University, she received her doctorate degree in 2008 with her thesis entitled, “Nettachmental Thought” in The Department of Sociology in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Among her curatorial research, there are exhibitions entitled Cacophony (2013), Code Unknown (2014), Waves (2015), Plug-in (2015), Illusionoscope (2017) and Interfaces (2018). She has also curated public seminars such as “Contagious Bodies: Network Politics” (2015-2016), “Today’s Art: Yet Another” (2017-2018) and “Science, Technology, Society Talks” (2018 – ongoing). She edited a Special Issue of Toplumbilim on Postcolonial Thought (2010) and a poetry book of a robot, Deniz Yılmaz in 2016.
