Biography
Dr. Aysun Aygün received her BA in economics from Boğaziçi University in 2006 and PhD in economics from Northeastern University in 2016. Her research is in labor economics and health economics, with a particular focus on empirical research. One stream of her current work focuses on female labor force participation, paid child care use and regulatory policies in the context of United States. Another stream examines the use of public health care services in Turkey for improving mother and child health by focusing on the indicators such as infant vaccination and obesity.
