Lect. PhD Fatma Şehkar Fayda Kınık

Biography

Dr. F. Sehkar Fayda-Kinik is currently a senior lecturer at Istanbul Technical University, Turkey. Born in Ankara, Turkey, Dr. Fayda-Kinik graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching following a 5-year teaching career in the schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. After gaining her Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Supervision, Dr. Fayda-Kinik started to work for Istanbul Technical University as a lecturer embracing teaching undergraduate students and research. Before embarking on an academic career, Dr. Fayda-Kinik got her Ph.D. degree in Educational Administration and Supervision. Dr. Fayda-Kinik’s research has embraced educational sciences with a special emphasis on higher education, knowledge management, professional development, organizational culture, technology in education, and leadership. She has been involved in a number of international projects on education. She is currently a member of the International Study Association on Teachers and Teaching (ISATT), the British Educational Leadership, Management and Administration Society (BELMAS), and the International Academic Forum (IAFOR).
